Well detailed and put together. Kali Linux is one of the most versatile Linux OS for Forensics and Pen testing. The Author has a wealth of knowledge and this was conveyed in the Book.....I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to learn Digital forensics.

This is filled with basics on computers, types of drives, how hard drives work, etc. Not so much just using kali and the tool. Book could have been a 3rd of the size without all the filler.

This book is the go-to book for digital forensics using kali linux. The author is well versed in his field and this is apparent in his masterful explanations of the history, evolution and current techniques used in digital forensics. Each chapter is nicely illustrated with practical step by step instructions and pictures to further provide clarity and insight. The learning points are then reinforced with good summaries. Overall, a very resourceful and educational tool, and a must have in your library.

Gave this book to my son as it was on his wish list and he said it was very informative. Thanks

The knowledge provided within this book assisted me to better understand the forensics features within the Kali Linux OS. I would definitely recommend this title to anyone who's interesting in learning both Kali Linux and forensics.

If you’ve ever been given a sideways look while eating in public, had a complete stranger offer advice on how to “fix” you, or skipped a school function because you’re afraid of how your size will deflect ridicule to your child; you’re in this group, and this book is for you. Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, here’s why EVERYONE should read this book; men, women or otherwise. I flipped to the first page expecting all the things I have come to appreciate from reading Brittany’s blog, following her social media posts, and meeting her in person: willful irreverence, period-specific pop culture references, and slightly cringe-worthy discussions of the hornet’s nest that is the female existence (read: periods, boob sweat, and the like). And I got it. I got all the hilarious, foul-mouthed, sexy, movie reference-fueled perspectives and narratives that I was hoping for in a Brittany Gibbons book. As a fan, I’d have been satisfied with that. What I didn’t expect was a series of life stories, experiences, and supremely human moments, all of them told with such a stark honesty that I found myself tearing up on a crowded airplane wondering what the hell was happening with this “comedy” book I was reading. Reading Fat Girl Walking as a man is like spying on all girls sleepover; not the adolescent fantasy replete with baby doll nighties and pillow fights, but the real, raw, unguarded emotion that only women communing with women feel comfortable sharing. This book will shock you. Not in the normal boring, “did she really just say that” kind of way, but in the devastating frankness and transparency Brittany shows in the recounting of her life experiences, her rise to “internet famous”, and the long hard road behind her as she defined and refined her message into becoming the resounding voice, smirking face and gorgeous body at the front of this movement This book will make you cry. There are moments of such humanity and realness that the only response that feels natural is a physical one. Brittany weaves these between humor and levity in a way that never lets you fall too far. I found myself cheering for her and screaming at her as she fumbled through the missteps of her youth and early adulthood as they resonated a little too close to home. Eventually landing right where she belongs, and lighting the path for those behind her. Maybe, just maybe, this book will inspire you. I feel like I was inspired by Fat Girl Walking as a byproduct. If someone tells me a book is inspirational, I immediately reject it as drivel or something conjured by a distant PhD or B-list celeb that wants a summer home. Brittany set out to tell a story, in her inimitable voice, and entertain the hell out of anyone lucky enough to pick up a copy. This book is inspirational, but I don’t think it meant to be. Sometimes the fat girl gets cast as the funny friend, and ends up being the star.

This book was FUN. I've been heavy and I've been unhealthily thin, but have managed to find a comfortable, healthy life in the middle. Most importantly, I feel comfortable in my skin. A lot of women have not found that, though, and between hilarious outtakes from her life, Brittany Gibbons tells how she found a life in which she's happy just "being". Not the grand quest to change, or the promise of being happier "just if", but loving yourself and your life right now. It's a powerful story. And hilarious. I'm glad I read this book.

If you read nothing else, I implore you to get Fat Girl Walking by the great Brittany Gibbons. There's a reason she's a writer and I'm not because I can't even form the words to tell you how good this book is. I laughed. I cried. I shouted me too! repeatedly. Trust me when I tell you the only disappointment you'll feel upon finishing it is that her next book isn't out yet.

This was a v.ery relatable book for this plus sized woman. I guess I should have grasped the idea that she listed sex first in the title because it was that important to her. A bit too raunchy, detailed, and crass for my taste. Her description of being "curvy" was extremely relatable and I would recommend it for anyone who grew up in the 80s or 90s.

I love Brittany’s writing style. She’s witty, funny, smart, relatable, and it’s reasuring and some how validating when someone else’s life so closely mirrors your own and the humor you heard in your head comes out on her pages. Definitely a must read for the plus sized. It was finished way too soon, inspired binge-reading and then I had to go buy her first book!

Awesome memoir! I love the author's relaxed and friendly writing style. It makes me feel like I know her personally. We learn about Brittany Gibbon's childhood, her struggles with weight and social life. She recounts her time in college and her relationship with her then-boyfriend now husband Andy. She also recounts her time having three children and her ever changing body. Throughout the memoir, she extols the importance of body love and acceptance. She is brave and happy and makes you want to be like that too. I'm on my second time reading it, it's that good!

What can I say. From one fat girl to another.... I LOVE Brittany Gibbons. We have similar personalities. I absolutely love the way she looks at the obstacles in her life and has overcome them. If you aren't afraid or *gasp* offended by someone who cusses a little bit, tells it like it is, and are a "Fat Girl Walking" or even if you're a Skinny Girl Walking.... you'll want to read this book. You'll definitely laugh and I'm almost positive you'll relate to a few obstacles she's been through in her life.

Infinitely relatable and incredibly entertaining. I wasn't sure how much this book would apply to me as I am smack dab in the middle of the size range, a few sizes from plus but also several from small. Ms. Gibbons makes excellent points about body acceptance while refusing to cut down anyone of any body type. I downloaded this book based upon a review written by a man and I completely understand now why he enjoyed it so much. This is a book for everyone: small, big, male, female, and anywhere in between.

Its a good book, a joy to read, however, it lacks mathematical or even physical rigor, I've looked all over the book and theres not a single Smith Chart in sight. Its kinda in the same line as RF Circuit Design, Second Edition by Bowick, Bowick's book is great to learn how to use the Smith Chart, however I prefer this book by Cotter Sayre because it covers the topics in more detail. Im not 100% happy about the methods he proposes for amplifier design, seems to me that they are very particular, meaning only applicable in certain cases, only using the proposed circuits and following the steps in a cook book fashion, however, for someone wanting to grasp the practicalities of RF design it may serve its purpose.This book should be considered as an overview of the different areas in RF design, which in no way replace the dedicated books on the subject, such as Microwave Transistor Amplifiers: Analysis and Design (2nd Edition) for amplifiers, Discrete Oscillator Design: Linear, Nonlinear, Transient, and Noise Domains for oscillators and so on...Eventhough im a big fan of BJT transistors (pleonasm) this book seems to be BJT centered, which makes it either outdated or restricted to lower frequencies, granted, HBT's are glorified BJT's so the theory may remain valid, but where's the MESFET, HEMT, etc..?If you are a beginner with little knowledge on transmission lines, RCL circuits, then this book is for you. Otherwise, this book may serve as entertainment with a good tip here and there, I certainly enjoyed it.After reading this book you may want to follow up with a great book series, which I actually prefer, that covers a variety of RF topics a bit more in detail. Practical RF Circuit Design for Modern Wireless Systems, Volume I : Passive Circuits and Systems and Practical Rf Circuit Design for Modern Wireless Systems, Volume Ii: Active Circuits

I like this book. It covers a lot of topics in radio design as well as general analog circuit design. I found the sections on microstrips really facinating and well written. It covers a lot of topics in reasonable detail, including amplifiers, mixers, and filters. The book starts with the basics: the behavior of fundamental circuit elements at high frequencies. Then it covers a bunch of specific circuit elements in detail.The book however is weak in a few ways. It is shy about mathematics an often presents formula's with little justification or proof. It also could benefit from more fully worked circuit examples. Finally, the section on 'modulation' is really weak.

Outstanding coverage of the subject. People say it is more for engineers. I'm an engineer and the book addresses the design process wonderfully, I also like the books by Chris Bowick too.

I chose this textbook from reviews and was not disappointed. This is a good textbook for anyone with an electronics background aiming to strengthen their RF.This is not an introductory textbook and doesn't pretend to be. Learn your basic electronics, then come to this book. But niether is this an advanced text book for people already intimately familiar with RF looking for the extra edge. This is a good book to learn RF.Comes with a good CD too.

Good useful book for any design engineer.

In the 700 pages of this book, the author manages an encyclopaedic coverage of RF circuitry. The text is packed with circuit diagrams and practical examples, and makes clear the various strengths and weaknesses of the different techniques. There is just enough theory to provide a foundation for understanding the immutable principles which guide and constrain circuit design, but unlike texts targeted at the purely academic audience, this one never bogs down in the maths or leaves the theory as an end in itself. This book will appeal to electronics hobbyists, to radio amateurs and to engineers from other areas in electronics moving into RF technology. Perhaps the only audience which might be disappointed would be university students studying for exams, who need a strong theoretical focus and are not expected to know much about practical circuits.As an historical note, I recall that in the 1950s, the Radio Corporation of America managed to draw together into a single weighty volume (Radiotron Designer's Handbook, edited by Langford-Smith) all that the working RF engineer needed to know about the design and construction of radio receivers. No one has since been able to match this achievement, the challenge becoming more difficult with each passing decade. But the present book, Complete Wireless Design, comes pretty close to achieving the impossible. It is certainly the best textbook on RF techniques I have encountered in many, many years.
