Wow! What a book! I've been a Christian for many years, but SO MUCH of this I never knew! Thank you, Carl Gallups, for unveiling so much of God's Word to me! I like the fact that Carl backs up everything he says with Scripture and with commentaries. Carl has the ability to decipher Scripture like few others! I honestly just couldn't put this book down. At the end of each chapter is a little piece of bait that you just have to read the next chapter to find out what happens. I read until 2:45 AM knowing I would have to get up at 6:00 AM. It was worth it too!!!!
Pretty good book that links the genesis account of Garden Of Eden with other biblical scriptures in the old and new testaments. Also takes a very realistic look at the original sin of Adam and Eve.Chapter 40 of this book: 'The Man In The Middle' is awesome. It’s a fictional account of an incidental Jew who happens to be in Jerusalem for The Passover celebration. He gets caught-up with the crowd and witnesses the crucifixion of Jesus. This tourist has heard about Jesus but is skeptical. He comes full circle, though, as he observes the events as they unfold during the 6 hour ordeal. His ’eyewitness’ testimony connects all the dots of the crucifixion... better than anything I have ever seen or read. It is followed by chapters that explain where Jesus went for those 3 days when His body was in the tomb, His 40 days on earth after His resurrection and His ascension to heaven at the end of the 40 days. Ties it all together really well.
Loved this book! It was an easy read as the chapters are very manageable to read one at a sitting. The topics however were startling at times to digest mostly because the church seems vastly ignorant of what the Bible really says.I appreciated the author’s scholarly approach, research and references.It was refreshing to have the Bible looked at in it’s totality and connect the dots.I have already ordered a second book by this author.
Very interesting. I don't agree with the all the conclusions made. As most books, the author uses Commentaries that support his view. Know your bible before reading anything, and you can glean some insights from the book. Otherwise, skip it and read your bible and a good commentary!..
A must read for anyone seeking understanding of what is going on in our world even aswe speak. Much clarification on speculations of the last 100 yrs or more.
The last sentence in Gods Of Ground Zero, once again caused my heart to beat with unbridled joy as the last sentence in Gods and Thrones did as well.The “Glass isn’t as dim†as before after reading Gods of Ground Zero. The journey Carl takes you on through this book opens a pure, unfiltered realization of the truths contained with the Garden of Eden.My understanding has deepened and my passion for God’s Word is even stronger with each book Carl has written. This is a MUST for everyone to read. I can assure you, you will not put it down because the undeniable truth of God’s Word is right there before you and you are going to be in such awe!!!!
This book will deeply affect how you view the modern world and salvation. I do wish the author had considered Genesis 6. However, the reader will have greater understanding of that and many other passages.
