This is a very shallow book that covers none of the topics in any detail at all. The entire book takes about an hour to read and really doesn't provide much useful information. There is a bare discussion of different types of organization but nothing more than a paragraph on each one. There's no discussion about the advantages/disadvantages of an LLC vs a Chapter S. There are six pages devoted to starting an LLC, but 15 pages devoted to marketing the author's other book.

Horrible. I was unable to get past the first few pages because of the atrocious grammar and sentence structure. It's impossible to understand the topic when the writing itself is incomprehensible. I usually avoid self-published books but I missed the fact that this was one of them. That's my fault. If you want to learn about starting an LLC, do NOT use this book as a source of information.

When forming my business I had so many questions about the type of business entity I should form. I found chapter 7 to be most helpful which explains the differences in accounting for an LLC. For someone who has little to no knowledge of the two methods of accounting I found it to be very beneficial to know ahead of time the type accounting you want to practice for your business. This book was easy to follow and spoke in a language that even non accounting folk can understand.

Multiple grammatical errors in the first 3 pages, and they don't stop there. Short book, made with little content, often rambling prose. Of the 96 pages in the book, 25 of them are advertisements/previews of the author's other books, 19 of them are easily googled snippets about state specific costs of startup, rules, etc. The rest of the 50 pages can be read within an hour, are without much substance, and are full of lots of legal anecdotes. I wish I had read other reviews before purchasing. Don't waste your time or money.

This book is nothing more than a blog page

Great resource for individuals or entrepreneurs who wants to have a start up company. The book mentions everything you need to do when forming an LLC where the most important benefit for the members is they will not worry that their personal properties can be seized or possessed by creditors. Also, very insightful with offering information regarding accounting systems for entrepreneurs/business owners that don’t know where to start. Unlike shareholders in a corporation, LLCs are not taxed as a separate business entity. LLC members report profits and losses on their personal federal tax returns, just like the owners of a partnership would. Perfect book for entrepreneurs.

This book provides a really nice overview of what an LLC is and how to go about setting one up - with state-specific information as well. It makes the whole process seem less daunting by covering all the steps of the process and things to consider along the way - from organizational structure to tax implications. A great place to start for someone thinking of starting their own LLC!

It's good information. I got off into it and read it for the 2 days which is under 24 hours. I enjoyed it, but more information in respect to LLCs are necessarily needed.

I enjoy each one I read.

i love these wonderful poems of Li Po, about his experiences and some of his observations. i think David Hinton did a good job of translating them although i really know nothing about the ancient chinese language. They are quite lyrical, quite accessible.

I had read poems of Li Po translated into German and French in the past but I really enjoyed this edition.I quoted the poem about departing Yangzhou to my Chinese scholar friend who remarked that the translation looses some of the essence from Chinese.

A world-class poet. Beautifully translated, thoroughly enjoyable.

A good book that could have been better. It does not provide a Chinese text. Besides this, more extensive notes would have been useful. For example, in "Ch'ang-Kan Village Song," the wife says, "I'm not saying I'd go far to meet you, no further than Ch'ang-feng Sands." It would have been nice to know that Ch'ang-Kan was about two hundred miles downstream from Ch'ang-feng Sands. More serious is that note to the poem that states Ezra Pound "translated" this poem. Actually, Ezra Pound could not read Chinese when he wrote his version of the poem, but relied upon the writings of Ernest Fenollosa, who also could not read Chinese and relied upon Japanese scholars. Despite all this, the book does provide an enjoyable glimse of a Tang dynasty Dylan Thomas (at least as far as wine goes).

Great introduction as well as selection of poems from each stage of his life. This was my first book of his poems and I couldn't be happier. I took some older books out at my local library but they were choppy and dense and not at all the refreshing and clear stuff of this book.

As someone who appreciated the sympathetic themes of alcoholism in Bukowski's poetry I thought dipping my toe into eastern poetry as an American would at first be a much more different experience, and it is, but Li Po in his drunken observations gives much else to think about in a way I think all cultures should be able to identify with. The imagery in the poems themselves are very complex and leave a lot for people with perhaps an active imagination to conjure up in their minds, and its always something basic enough to be describing a painting we can all add up in our heads and see ourselves inside if we've been near mountains or strolling down a river or stream at some point. The conveyance of lovelorn reminiscence, cosmic humility, or the mere administration of how we apply philosophical observations into our daily motivations is all .interesting albeit described in a language and manner that has become ancient, thus taking more time to translate. I don't know if they got the translations entirely as intended when they converted the poems to english, but if you don't mind some of that it shouldn't be difficult to get the basic ideas of what the original author here was trying to say. I did some reading up on Po before I got this book and his life is fascinating, in fact in the beginning of the book is a little about his life experience. As someone who is a descendant of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, who was a poet and political administrator during his time, I appreciated the similar life perspective of one of China's most prolific and revolutionary writers, who also happened to be similarly experienced in public service capacities. One issue I had was that much of the old words to describe things I found myself needing to look up-which did slow me down in reading this-especially with how geographically specific he gets with describing towns, waterfalls, etc. But if you enjoy deep musings about the majesty of nature or the ways man relates to it, you can not go wrong with this book.

There is spontaneous energy in the world, and in nature specifically. Li Po, who lived in China's 8th Century T'ang Dynasty, wanders through this world and experiences this energy and spirit. He unites it to himself, and through the force of his creativity shapes some of the finest poems ever written in any language:I hoard the sky a setting sun leavesAnd love this cold stream's clarity:Western light follows water away,Rippled current a wanderer's heart. "Wandering Ch'ing-Ling Stream in Nan-Yang"Truth in advertising: I do not know the Chinese language, and so my comments are completely based on the translated versions of Li Po's poems. David Hinton, the translator of this volume, winner of the 1997 Morton Landon Translation Award, has published translations of the poems of Meng Chaio, Bei Dao and Tu Fu.Strangely to our sensibility, Li Po not only pursues this natural energy and beauty wherever he can find it, but also believes that wine is a good way to enhance the experience. While he scales high mountains to sit with Buddhist monks and converse about enlightenment, he also seems to find enlightenment in drunkenness. Many of Li Po's most interesting poems are about the experience of being inebriated or arguments in favor of drinking. One of my favorites is "Facing Wine:"Never refuse wine. I'm telling you,People come smiling in spring winds:. . .Yesterday we were flush with youth,And today, white hair's an onslaught.. . . If you don't drink wine,Where are those ancient people now?In "Facing Wine" Li Po combines two of the most profound themes of poetry: the "ubi sunt" theme (where are they now) and the "carpe diem" theme (sieze the day). Both motifs figure highly Roman and Medieval Latin poetry.Li Po is funny, entertaining and enlightening. A poet of great personal magnetism and dynamic power.

This book absolutely floored me in all the best ways possible. The author displays a mastery of complex plot construction that all fits properly together-- along with solid character development and realistic-sounding dialogue. She evokes the full gamut of emotions from the reader. We feel the anguish, romance, pain, laughter, loss, anger and more along with the characters, all in perfectly proportioned doses.I must highlight the excellent dialogue especially. I can't think of another book that does conversations better. We're always told how witty and charming Elizabeth is, but this book lets us hear it in her own voice. Considering the level of tension that builds and builds and builds throughout the book, Lizzy's irrepressible humor in every situation is a welcome delight. After she and Darcy marry, we get to hear how his humor matches hers. The difference is that his delivery is described as deadpan and solemn, so usually it's only Elizabeth who recognizes that he's not serious. Intricate details describe the little quirks that speakers and listeners display, revealing even more about the characters. The focal story is less Elizabeth-and-Darcy than it is Elizabeth-and-Jane and Elizabeth-and-Bingley. The point of view of the narration shifts among the four key characters here whose lives are intertwined: Elizabeth, Darcy, Jane and Bingley. Often this method of writing a story doesn't work because it can feel disjointed. There are even scenes here described more than once, which works even more rarely. However, each character's perspective of events is crucial to the development of this particular plot because of all the misunderstandings that develop. Not only does it work here, it's essential. There are also times when the story follows a particular character and intentionally leaves out things that happen elsewhere. You become as surprised as the character you're shadowing when he or she becomes aware of them, and then the story backtracks to tell what actually happened during the interim. Very effective!Interestingly, Charles Bingley's less admirable qualities are taken to extremes but not to the point where it's inconsistent with Jane Austen's character. He needs direction from Darcy or his sisters in order to make important decisions unless he's acting impulsively, in which case he doesn't think things through at all. He's prone to jumping to conclusions and assuming things that just aren't true. In addition, his letter-writing is abysmal and leads to some avoidable misunderstanding. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body, but his clueless and careless behavior wreaks most of the trouble in this book.Mrs. Bennet has doted on her daughter Jane for her entire life, bragging about the marvelous match she's certain to make. It's expected that as long as Jane sits serenely, looking as beautiful as she does, she will be admired. And she IS admired. She's the beauty queen of Meryton. But while the men admire Jane, they all love to hang with Lizzy because she's a lot more outgoing and fun. Bingley's abandonment after the Netherfield ball adversely affects Jane's self-confidence, and subsequent events in the book shatter it.When Bingley finally does return to Meryton, Jane doesn't know how to encourage him and feels awkward. She is flustered and withdrawn, leaving him thoroughly confused. Elizabeth reassures Bingley that her sister has feelings for him, but he gradually starts to believe that perhaps he's trying to woo the wrong sister. And Jane, who never resented her sister's popularity before, starts down a dark path to jealousy and bitterness that pervades the rest of the story. You may not like her much throughout, but you'll understand why she feels and acts the way she does.Interestingly, Caroline Bingley isn't as much the villain in this imagining as Lady Ashby, who is married to Colonel Fitzwilliam's eldest brother, the Visount. Both Lord and Lady Ashby are nasty pieces of work, but she's more actively malicious. Wickham significantly affects the plot development despite the fact that he doesn't actually appear much. Lady Catherine, although completely antagonistic and unreasonable, is present more often, but you'll end up feeling sympathetic as you learn more about what's going on with her.My new favorite add-on character to any Pride and Prejudice variation I've ever read is Mrs. Sinclair. She is the 81-year-old mother-in-law of Lord Matlock. This spitfire speaks her mind and takes no prisoners, stating the obvious in hysterically funny fashion. She adds a wonderful element to every scene in which she appears.Talk about a build-up! The rising action in the book builds to the point where everything converges at the best climactic scene I've come across in a long time. It's a humdinger. Once the resolution is reached, the book has the grace to know it's time to end, and it does.Even though this is available free through my Kindle Unlimited program, I bought it. It's one I'll be re-reading, for sure.

This was an absolutely perfect read. Thrilling, romantic, passionate and funny. The dry wit was extraordinary clever. The sexual tension was beautifully done (nothing explicit).Adored this Elizabeth and Darcy, one of my favourite portraits of theme ever.I applaud this author for not falling in to trap of numerous (and tedious) misunderstandings. In this book their misunderstandings from canon are dealt with and it is them against the world for the rest of the book. Darcy's love never falters and Elizabeth's wit never diminishes, I loved it!A couple of new characters are added to the pool and I especially loved Mrs Sinclair, the colonels grandmother, she was hilariously witty.Entering after the proposal at Hunsford. Darcy waists no time to tell Bingley of his role in concealing that Jane was in London and that he might be mistaken in her supposed indifference.Bingley leaves for Hertfordshire but Darcy does not follow, feeling all hope is lost with Elizabeth. This part of the book, before ODC is reunited, is heart-wrenchingly angsty but the anguish will be worth it. ODC comes to an understanding much earlier than canon (and what a lovely scene it was) but their trials are far from over. Elizabeth has several suitors that are intent on making their sentiments known. Still, their biggest enemies comes from within the family. Jane and Bingley will surprise you in this fic. They both act abominable... Will not elaborate to not spoil your read. This is one of the best P&P variations I have ever read. It is on my top 10 list of the 600+ variations I have read.Hopefully this author have, or at least will, write more stories. I am amazed.Heartily recommend this book!!!

Let's just say "Mistaken" is a wonderful, slightly angsty, farce. Most of the time, you'll be laughing. This is, if you aren't a fan of Charles Bingley. By the end of this one, you'll be on Caroline's side when it comes to her brother. As for Darcy and Elizabeth, they get together very early in the novel, but the "mistakes" everyone makes about their true (very passionate) relationship is what drives the plot. You'll be re-reading this one again and again.

I simply never reached that point of "a willing suspension of disbelief" in this novel. I am used to having JAFF authors ascribe unbelievable personality traits to characters, but this novel veers so far afield that it becomes simply uninteresting. Sorry, I cannot recommend this book.

Nice variation, if you don't mind some character changes. I have read 20-30 JAFF books, and I enjoyed this one. I like my books to have some substance, and not be over in 148 pages. This book was lengthy enough to tell a good story, and the author used decent vocabulary. It was an original tale for me. Most characters remained true to the original P&P version. Jane and Bingley were different. If you need those two characters unchanged, then this book will disappoint you. I typically don't like to see writers messing with Bingley and Jane, but I found this book to be an exception. I thought Lizzie and Darcy were sometimes a bit too verbose too often with their expression of love for each other. I recommend this book.
