BABY ERMA IS SOOOOO CUTE!!! Finally we get to learn how Erma's parents met and how she came into being. I may be new to the series, having started read Brandon Santiago's comics on his Deviantart site, but after last year I have fallen in love with this little comic strip. This book gives us exactly what we've wanted to know and offering us some interesting storylines to look forward to in the future. Its fast paced, funny, romantic, dramatic, and suspenseful. I'm glad to have read this book, and I highly recommend this to fans and anyone who loves cute horror comedies. Also, I've said this once and I will say it again...BABY ERMA IS SOOOOO CUTE!!!
Why five stars? Well it came down to the fact that the author has the main story line free on the web and I feel this is a good way to support an amazing series. With that said I found this to be a great story but lacking substance. The art was on point and the story heart warming (like all of Erma) but the sub five minute read time was disappointing.
The Erma cartoons are fun, creepy, mysterious. This prequel tells us where she came from, and it’s fun on its own. Maybe not worth $10, but the author is.
If you haven't met erma, correct that! I am a Beetlejuice-loving, October born, macabre immersing madman and this makes me come as close as is possible to 'squee' with my male homosapien vocal chords. Reading this is so good for the soul it results in the happy tingles effect. For extended side effects, read all of BJSinc's works, trust me I'm on the internet
I have been a fan for awhile and I was excited to hear that there was going to be a comic about Erma’s parents and how they met. This is absolutely amazing! It makes me excited for the eventually conflict with Erma’s grandfather.
I enjoyed the prequel to Erma webcomic in how her parents met. I had to say, though, the beginning of their first meeting was a bit abrupt, could have been more gradual - nevertheless, the rest of the story is great, and it is worth purchasing to learn more about Erma's parents and their relatives, lol. Lots of foreshadowing indeed and here's looking forward to future stories of Erma and her family!
Overall it was really good and adds some awesome context to the webcomic and the upcoming story. It was a little quick paced but overall a good read. Definitely a must read for fans and a good starting point for new readers.Check out the rest of Erma on webtions or buy this authors other books. It is well worth it!
Finally we get to know how such relationship came to be and how little Erma was brought to our world. Love conquers all!!
